QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1. MS Driver’s License

2. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

 

REPORTS TO: Principal (primary) / Director of Maintenance (secondary)

 

JOB GOALS: To keep the grounds and facilities clean and safe in accordance with the expectations of the Supervisor

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Cleans classrooms, offices, lounges, bathrooms, and storage rooms with broom, mop, or vacuum
  2. Mops spots caused by spills
  3. Cleans restrooms by water mopping the floors and washing lavatories, commodes, etc
  4. Dusts furniture in offices, conference rooms, and lounges
  5. Empties waste paper cans into the trash cart
  6. Distributes paper towels, toilet tissue, soap, etc. to restrooms
  7. Carries out other cleaning duties as assigned by the Principal
  8. Cleans windowsills and blinds in all offices
  9. Performs any other duties as outlined by the Principal or Director of Maintenance

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to be established by the School Board

 

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Staff
