QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- A minimum of three (3) years prior job experience
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Hourly rate and time to be established by the School Board
REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB GOALS: To assure the smooth and efficient operations of the school office so that the office’s maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meets all professional conduct standards as set by MS Educator Code of Ethics Standards of Conduct
- Receptionist for the school principal
- Performs usual office routine
- Receives and routes all incoming calls
- Types and processes purchase orders
- Types correspondence, schedule appointments, and receive telephone messages
- Maintains a regular filing system
- Copies documents as needed
- Follow all board policies and procedures
- Maintain regular attendance and is punctual
- Promote the district’s vision, mission, and goals
- Performs any other duties as outlined by the Principal
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on the Evaluation of Professional Personnel
